    Presentation Description:

    Employee Engagement Surveys have been a tool that organizations have utilized for a number of years to provide feedback to the organization relative to their retention and attraction objectives.  With current talent challenges, more than ever, there is the need and opportunity to solicit feedback and take specific action on key areas that will have the maximum impact for the organization.  Kurt Johnson will highlight best practices and will facilitate discussion on positive experiences organizations have had with these efforts.


    Kurt Johnson is the VP-Client Services for Right Management, the global career experts, working with clients in his home state of Wisconsin.  In his role, he provides facilitation of Right’s resources in support of corporate client needs including talent assessment, leader development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, career development/mobility, and outplacement.

    Working in partnership with clients and Right Management resources, Kurt has proudly been involved with talent and career projects including CEO succession processes, high potential leadership identification and development programs, employee engagement processes including data collection/analysis/action planning leading to sustained positive change, and supporting group and individual career change success. 

    Professional Experience

    Kurt is a career Human Resource professional with 35 years of experience, the last 15 with Right Management.  He has worked in the mail order, printing, and pulp/paper industries for both family owned and Fortune 100 employers.  His experience includes recruiting technical employees to a major research, development, and engineering group, supporting merger/acquisition processes from a human capital perspective, participating in train-the-trainer programs for presentation skills, supervisory legal awareness, and performance management systems.

    He is a former President, Vice-President, and Program Chair for the Fox Valley Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management.  Kurt has been an active member of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s College of Business Advisory Board for more than two decades and also serves on the Human Resources Advisory Board for the College of Business.  At the technical college level, he has been a member of the Pulp & Paper Advisory Board and the Graphic Arts Advisory Board at Fox Valley Technical College. 

    In his role at Right Management, Kurt is privileged to facilitate HR Executive roundtables focused on sharing of best practices and collaboration.


    Kurt has an MBA and BS in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  He lives in Oshkosh, and enjoys spending time with his family, and is a stockholder and season ticket holder of the Green Bay Packers.


    Cancellations are accepted up to two (2) days before the program.  Substitutions are allowed.  If you RSVP and fail to show, you will be invoiced accordingly.
